All of our corsets have all been engineered with waist reduction ability. Due to this, choosing a size is slightly different to regular tops. Our size guide gives you the size your measurements correspond to for a firm fit with no ease but no reduction.
For example, if you have a waist circumference of 74cm, choosing a size medium would be the best fit if you still wanted support and lift, without a waist reduction.
elizabeth
Elizabeth style corsets are corsets closest to a regular top fit. The corset has conical edges from the waist up that follows the natural shape of the body, it then goes against this angle and inwards towards the bust which provides the 'lift' effect.
We recommend following the size guide for a fit as per the models. For a waist reduction please see our guide below.
conical
Conical corsets are essentialy 2 upside down cones joined together at their points (the waist), which gives the hourglass shape.
Our Conical corsets are patterned with a 1-2cm lacing gap. This gives you more flexibility in a tighter/looser fit at your usual size.
If you would like a waist reduction of up to 3cm, we recommend purchasing your size according to the size guide.
Please see our guide below for waist reduction limitatons.
Our waist reduction guide advises approximate limits to reduction based on body composition and the corset style.
Example: Maria: 80cm waist, 101cm bust (size large), with a firm stomach and she would like a waist reduction of 2cm.
80cm - 2cm = 78cm. She now uses 78cm as her waist measurement when referring to the size guide.
In an Elizabeth style corset, she is limited to 1.5cm reduction (78.5cm) - so she would still be a size Large.
In a Conical style corset she is limited to 1cm reduction (79cm) so she would be a Large.
Please note, no two bodies are the same, these figures have been provided as a guide. For made to order pieces, if you are unsure on sizing we strongly recommend emailing us before ordering as we are more than happy to assist you :)
